Lucky Backpacker Hostel - Vientiane

The staff were super friendly and had no problem with us changing rooms after we pointed out we weren't happy with the first one. The motorbike rental was mind-blowingly cheap and worked well. The owners even looked after our bags after checkout until our night bus.

Stayed at a hostel with a roundtrip airport shuttle and lockers. The 24-hour reception was very convenient too. Just what I needed for my posh backpacking adventure.

Surprisingly, no champagne service in the dorm room. Such a disappointment.

Cet hôtel est vraiment une bonne trouvaille! l'emplacement est parfait - situé dans une zone résidentielle calme, juste de l'autre côté du pont de Libourne, il offre un bon compromis entre tranquillité et accessibilité. De plus, le prix est très abordable pour ce que l'hôtel offre. Les chambres sont bien aménagées et bien meublées, même si elles sont un peu petites. J'ai particulièrement aimé les petites attentions, comme la bouilloire et les sachets de thé à disposition. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable, prêt à répondre à tous nos besoins. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

The room at Lucky Backpacker Hostel was cozy and comfortable. I loved the air conditioning in the triple room and the fan in the double room. It made my stay very pleasant, especially after a long day of backpacking.

Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom in the double room. But I understand that shared accommodation can be enjoyable for others.

The staff at this hostel were the best I encountered during my trip in Southeast Asia. They were incredibly helpful, organizing and advising us on various matters. Their English proficiency made communication easy. The location of the hostel was also good, and they offered a simple but nice breakfast. The TV had a decent selection of English channels.

There are some minor issues with the hostel, including slow computers and inconsistent room temperatures.

Everything is what we need and want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Shared lounge: The common area was like a bustling marketplace, where travelers from all over the globe gathered and shared their adventures over a cup of steaming coffee.

This hostel was an excellent choice for my holiday with a great value for money. I loved the convenient and central location close to restaurants and attractions. The hostel also offered affordable bus tickets. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, offering helpful tips on activities and restaurants.

The room I stayed in was a bit small and compact, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. The WiFi connection was shaky, but I managed to get some work done when I sat next to the door.

The hostel offered great tours and transportation services at affordable prices. the lobby was a cool spot to relax with plenty of seating and tables.

The dorms were lacking in cleanliness, with dirty sheets, and an infestation of mosquitos. Privacy was not an option, and the rooms were uncomfortable with poor temperature regulation.

For the price, Lucky Backpacker was excellent value for money. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was great, right next to the night market and the river. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel breakfast could use some improvement, maybe offer more variety.
